Professional Values
Authenticity
Nick believes it's important that you have the confidence to be unapologetically yourself and takes a down to earth and straightforward approach when working with clients. He understands that nobody is perfect, nor should we try to be and fancy Psychobabble is not what people come to therapy for.
Accountability
Nick believes that authentic therapy is often very difficult, as we have to confront parts of ourselves or experiences from the past for which we might rather avoid. This is always done in a safe manner and progressively as the therapeutic relationship develops.
Compassionate
Nick aims to be relationally attuned, compassionate and a supportive ally in your therapy journey. He understands that we all have a story and engaging in therapy can often be daunting due to the unknown. He hopes he can normalise the process so you can feel comfortably yourself and not feel consumed with what's on your mind.
